Jayson saw my profile while I was online. He lived in New York and I was in Boston. We started chatting and I joked how I just moved back from New York but he was no where to be found. We exchanged numbers and he told me he sometimes does business in Boston and if I would want to meet up.
I said sure, why not? He seemed nice and cute enough. We spoke on the phone first and I felt so comfortable talking to him as if he was an old friend. We finally met up and we must have closed the bar down.
From that night in, he drove up every weekend to see me and did that for an entire year. I told him long distance isn’t working for us and he agreed. The night before my 30th birthday he told me he needed to do business in New York. I was so upset I told all my friends and my mother how he could possibly miss such a big birthday! My mom consoled me and told me to just have fun on my birthday.
I was out with all my friends and I see a rose pop into my face. I took it, not looking up. I figured it was the waiter. Then I heard his voice. He took me outside where a huge stretch limo was waiting for me and all my friends inside.
I was blindfolded and taken to the place where we had our first date. My friends gave me their birthday gifts and Jayson told me he had a gift for me too. It was a small box with a beautiful ring inside! He got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of his life with him!
I was so excited that I called my mom first thing and told her I was engaged and she said. I know, Jay has been texting me play by play. She knew weeks in advance! Now we are married and have identical girl twins who light up our life. I would never have found the love of my life if it weren’t for that Jdate connection. The best part is my mother also found love again on Jdate after seeing what a success our connection was. She is now engaged to her true soul mate. We are all one happy loving Jdate family !
