Hello Jdate, I have a love story to tell you. It’s not a typical love story, but it’s a love story nonetheless.
Judaism has always been extremely important to me, so when I graduated college in ‘09, I decided to search for my Jewish soulmate. Little did I know that while my grandmother was busy buying a subscription for my account, my future fiancé’s parents were setting him up with one, as well.
Call it beshert, call it luck…we sensed a connection
We met on a rainy evening, January 2010 and from the moment we shook hands, we knew this could be forever. Call it beshert, call it luck…we sensed a connection. We were young though and very immature. We broke up countless times while we navigated our twenties and tried to come up with our identities (and also how to love others).
We learned a lot over the course of 8 years when we finally came back into each other’s lives. We both looked at each other and said, “there’s got to be a reason bigger than ourselves for why we keep coming back together.” And there was.
Our friends and family rolled their eyes when we told them this time it was real and it was forever. We had changed so much as people, not only each time we were together, but also while we were apart and explored other relationships.

Mark proposed September 29th of this year and we are blissfully happy! We are now trying to plan a wedding for April 2019. I wanted to reach out and thank you for creating this app and bringing us the love of our lives. We wish we could share our story on a bigger scale of how Jdate changed our lives, but for now, I will settle for writing this email and hoping it gets to someone who will share our success story.
