How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Brad and I both had relationships in the past that were not the best thing for us. We both eventually had gotten to the point where we knew something better, something bigger was out there for us, so we both signed up for Jdate.
I was on Jdate less than a month back in 2015 when Brad and I started talking. We started communicating via email first, then phone, and then we set up a date to meet up in person. The funniest part about this is that Brad and I had a really important first date. He had a whole day planned but he cancelled because he got very sick with the flu. We had to reschedule for a second date but I cancelled on him in retaliation. By the 3rd rescheduled date (our official first date) we finally met and it has been magic ever since. Workers and customers in the restaurant couldn’t believe it was our first date, they had thought we were celebrating our 5th year anniversary, so we truly knew right away that we had something amazing.
I would just start to get so excited that my incredible boyfriend, now husband, had arrived.
Over the next few months we lived in our separate apartments but made it our priority that see each other 3-4 times a week even with the commute from NY to NJ. Whenever Brad would come to my apartment in NY, I would hear his car from a mile down the road because it was so loud with extra exhaust power and I would just start to get so excited that my incredible boyfriend, now husband, had arrived.
Brad met my entire family one month after we started dating at my Aunt’s birthday/retirement party. He was a big hit and automatically won over everyone that day with his charm and looks. He has kept every promise he ever made to me and that in itself is a miracle because no man in my life has ever been so loyal and caring towards me.
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
On our first date we had a lovely dinner. It was such a great time that neither of us wanted the night to end and within a matter of weeks we became an official couple. December 9, 2015 was our first date and within less than a year, November 25, 2016 we became engaged.

Within that year we moved in together into a NJ apartment, moved again to relocate our lives to upstate NY and decided to become husband and wife. We are very much looking forward to starting a family, growing our family, and making a beautiful home to settle into somewhere in Rochester.
What advice would you give other Jdate members?
We tell all of our single friends and family to go on Jdate because there is nothing to lose and only everything to gain. We both strongly believe in your site and would like our story to be told.
