Lee Greenberg and I connected on Jdate the day after my 23rd birthday. I was new to online dating and pretty skeptical, and after a few dates before Lee where I didn’t see any sparks I was ready to give up for a bit and take a break from dating. However I knew even though I was young I was ready to meet “the one.”
Then along came Lee.
He was sweet and charming and I was able to tell that he genuinely wanted to get to know me. I liked that he was six years older then me, and wanted all the same things I wanted, love, marriage and one day a family. Lee was finishing up his residency program in Long Island but was going to be retuning to Paramus… his hometown upon graduation. I live in Wayne which is very close to Paramus, so he asked me if it would be ok if he came home for the weekend to meet me and take me out on a date.
From that point on we were inseparable, I just knew he was the one.
Of course I said yes, but this time it was different, I was excited to meet Lee, I had a feeling we were going to enjoy each other’s company. He picked me up and we went out for a nice dinner and I can tell I met someone special. Before the date was even close to over he told me he wanted to see me again. From that point on we were inseparable, I just knew he was the one.
Before Lee I didn’t believe in soulmates, yes it’s romantic and all but I just didn’t think it was possible however I know Lee is my soulmate.
He was open and honest and told me that he was going to marry me. Then a little over a year later Lee proposed! I could not be more excited to spend the rest of my life with this amazing man all thank you to Jdate!
