Rachel and Ron bonded over their love of Philly sports at a local sports bar. They met on JDate in June 2022 and were engaged by January 2023. When you’ve found the one, you just know. We wish them all the happiness in the world. Mazel Tov!
What can you tell us about your engagement?
“Ron proposed Saturday, 1/21/23 at Chaddsford Winery in Peddler’s Village and had loved ones waiting there with flowers, flower petals and wine. Everyone was in on it at the winery! After he proposed with a gorgeous ring, he had a reservation at Earls in Peddler’s Village. It is a night to remember!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“I gave up, and my Mom and Nan paid for a 3-month special for me on JDate and pushed me to keep trying to find the one. I wasn’t really using the app. So, one night, I went to visit my parents, and my Mom asked how JDate was going, and she basically took control and showed me some guys of interest. Ron was one of them, but the one.”
The couple met at a local sports bar. “We are both Phillysports lovers and figured it was a good first meet.”
When did you know it was more than casual?
“Our second date in New Hope (Havana), we knew it was something more.”
What advice would you give other JDate members still looking for love?
Don’t give up, “Thanks to my Mom and Nan for pushing me and paying, lol.”
